KIMONO and gold leaf on canvas
This painting is strongly linked to Japanese culture and beliefs.
There are three people in the picture.
The person holding a child is me and the person in the background represents my ancestor, grandfather.
He is represented as a skeleton because he already died.
My son was born on the same day my grandfather died and I intentionally used a grandfather's real Kimono material on this painting.
The flowers and plants show or symbolize hope and life.
The father protects the son from the dangers.
But you need air resistance if you want to fly.
The father sees hope in the circle of life.
