余白のアートフェア新井文月が出展

息をのむ美空間、禅的瞑想の境地へ

2025年1月25日、26日の両日、福島県双葉郡広野町にて開催された「余白のアートフェア」にて、新井文月氏の作品がひときわ異彩を放ちました。茶室を独占し、新井氏の作品群によって会場はエネルギッシュでありながらも静謐な、禅的瞑想空間へと変貌を遂げました。

2011年の東日本大震災以降、新井氏は「フラワープロジェクト」と銘打ち、芸術支援活動を継続されています。2013年には福島県いわき市の仮設住宅を訪れ、ライブペインティングと作品の寄贈を行いました。震災後、再び福島とのご縁が繋がり、貢献できることを新井氏は心から喜ばしく感じているとのことです。

作品は来場者に自己の内観を促す、まさに和の空間そのもの。国内外から観客とアーティストが集い、海外からもキュレーターが参加したグローバルなアートフェアは、大盛況のうちに幕を閉じました。中には、新井氏の絵画に釘付けとなり、時の流れを忘れて鑑賞に没頭する人々も多く見受けられました。

A breathtaking space, into the realm of Zen meditation

Fuzuki Arai’s works stood out at the “Mar Art Fair” held in Hirono-cho, Futaba-gun, Fukushima Prefecture on January 25th and 26th, 2025. By exclusively using a tea room, the venue was transformed into an energetic yet tranquil Zen meditation space by Fuzuki Arai’s works.

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, Fuzuki Arai has continued her art support activities under the name of “Flower Project”. In 2013, she visited temporary housing in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, where she performed live painting and donated her works. After the disaster, Fuzuki Arai expressed her sincere joy at being able to reconnect with Fukushima and contribute once again.

The works invite visitors to self-reflection, creating a truly Japanese space. The global art fair, which brought together artists from Japan and abroad and curators from overseas, was a great success. Many visitors were captivated by Fuzuki Arai’s paintings, losing track of time as they immersed themselves in the appreciation.

Marginal Art Fair Fukushima Hirono

“Marginal Art Fair Fukushima Hirono” is a new art fair to be held at Futatsunuma General Park in Hirono town, Futaba-gun, Fukushima Prefecture. Artworks of more than 20 participating artists will gather at the venue. In addition, international open call will be held, inviting artists from Japan and abroad to participate. During the fair, there will be workshops to support artists and reception. Please enjoy the various artistic expressions and events.

As the profound philosophy of Shugendo intersects with cutting-edge art, these inquiries illuminate new perspectives.
