This is not so much an evolution as it is a return to our original state. Through the mirror of AI, humanity has begun to observe the contours of its own intellect. When we immerse ourselves in nature—practicing meditation or standing beneath a waterfall—we are invariably confronted with the question: “What is the purpose of life?” It is a search for existential meaning.

In the coming era, the race to be “someone great” will give way to the harmony of “being fulfilled.” The very sensation of labor will dissolve. Instead, we will shift toward a way of living that creates joy, weaves narratives, and perceives beauty.

This is the era of “Everyone is an Artist,” as Joseph Beuys once envisioned. Alongside AI, we will seek the right questions and rediscover our purpose. At last, we are returning to a life of true significance.

【AI時代の終着点：私たちは芸術家に「回帰」する】

人類史の観点からすると、農業革命、産業革命、IT革命。

私たちは労働力を増やし、豊かさを求め、生活を便利にしてきました。

そして今、AI革命。かつての「労働力＝人の価値」という方程式が崩壊しました。いま知識も、学歴（新井はいまだにマウント受けます）も、情報の独占も、もはや武器にはならない時代。

かつて情報デザインを学んだ私にとって、情報は資産でありサバイブする武器でした。しかし今、AIは平均解（一般常識）を瞬時に叩き出します。答えを出すこと自体に、人の価値は置かれなくなりました。

がむしゃらに行動する時代は終わり、これから観測する時代が始まります。たとえば宇宙を理解するために物理学が生まれ、心を理解するために心理学が生まれたように。意識を理解するために、AIは生まれたのです。

これは進化ではなく、本来の姿への回帰と言えます。AIという鏡によって、人は自分の知性を観測し始めました。滝行や瞑想を通じて、よく「何のために生きるのか？」と問われます。つまり存在意味です。

これからの時代、私たちは働いている感覚すらなくなり、人を喜ばせ、物語を生み、美を感じる生き方へとシフトします。つまり、すごい人を目指す競争から、満ちたりている人としての調和へ。

ヨーゼフ・ボイスが言った「全員がアーティスト」の時代です。私たちはAIと共に問いを探し、生きる意味を見出す、価値ある生き方へと、ようやく戻っていくのです。
