What is Cosmoglyph: Exploring Art, Truth, and Well-Being
In this paper, I explore the intersection of art, truth, and well-being through “Cosmoglyph,” a unique art form I created. Cosmoglyph is rooted in introspective Japanese traditions (such as Zen, Shugendo, Calligraphy, Tea Ceremony, and Kare-san-sui gardens), yet it is expressed as a visual language “received” from a deep harmony with universal consciousness.
Background of the Paper: My Experiences and Insights
Through childhood illness, Shugendo practices like waterfall meditation (Takigyo) and blowing the conch shell (Horagai), and profound mystical experiences in Egypt, I have sublimated deep insights into Cosmoglyph. These experiences have fostered my multifaceted understanding of well-being, emphasizing the connection between mind and body, and the importance of purpose and meaning in life.
The Role of Art in the Digital Age
The paper argues that Cosmoglyph embodies a message conveying the crucial importance of humanity, intuition, and the pursuit of universal truth in our increasingly digital age. Especially now, with the rapid advancements in AI, I believe the role of art in nurturing uniquely human sensibilities, connection with nature, and well-being becomes ever more indispensable.
I sincerely hope this paper offers new perspectives on the interrelationship of art, spirituality, and well-being, leading to profound insights for its readers.
