Through the mystical experiences in Egypt, my own consciousness and creative approach underwent daily transformations upon returning home, most notably regarding Cosmoglyphs. Cosmoglyphs, which I devised, are accurately described as a language that deciphers the voice of the universe already in existence. It transcends conventional definitions of symbols and even abstract art. I posit that each stroke, each plane within a single glyph, encapsulates meaning compressed to over 100,000 words.
It is presented not as a human invention but as a received visual language—a direct transmission of fundamental, universal principles. For example, the torii gate in Japanese shrines inherently emanates an effect of “protection” through its very form. Each glyph contains a vast repository of meaning that far exceeds the capacity of conventional language. This assertion positions Cosmoglyph as a unique and potentially transformative mode of communication.
2 Primordial Scripts and Jindai Moji
I situate Cosmoglyph within the lineage of esoteric knowledge, asserting it to be even more ancient than Jindai Moji (神代文字), the debated “characters of the gods” purported to have existed in ancient Japan prior to the introduction of Kanji. Although mainstream linguists widely contest the authenticity of Jindai Moji, they hold cultural significance within certain Shinto and New Age traditions. By positioning Cosmoglyph as even more primordial, I suggest a connection to a foundational, pre-linguistic form of universal communication. Anecdotal reports from viewers of Cosmoglyphs suggest that interaction with these forms may evoke feelings of peace, healing, and shifts in perspective, although these claims necessitate further empirical investigation.
5 Cosmoglyph and Paradigm Shift: From Geocentric to Heliocentric…and Beyond?
Arai employs the historical shift in worldview from geocentric to heliocentric as an analogy for the potential transformative impact of Cosmoglyphs. Just as the heliocentric model revolutionized our comprehension of the cosmos, I propose that Cosmoglyphs may usher in a new era of understanding, shifting our focus from a purely materialistic perspective to one that acknowledges the subtle energies and interconnectedness of all phenomena. I tentatively term this potential future paradigm shift “空動説” (Kūdo-Setsu), or “Pneumatic Theory,” suggesting a transition towards recognizing a more fundamental, and perhaps spiritual, dimension underlying physical reality.
