高崎アートルネッサンスでは、ご宿泊のお客様のために、プロの芸術家である新井文月による本格的なアート体験ワークショップをご用意しております。20年間、国内外で活躍してきた新井文月が、心を豊かにするアートの力を皆様にお届けします。

瞑想から始まる3時間のワークショップでは、専門的な指導のもと、初めての方でも安心してご自身のオリジナル作品を制作できます。絵画の経験がなくてもご心配ありません。自由に筆を動かし、世界に一つだけのアート作品を創り出す喜びを体験してください。完成した作品は、旅の思い出としてお持ち帰りいただけます。

Welcome to an artist’s atelier stay experience. This is a unique homestay-style accommodation where you can use a part of an active art studio at a reasonable price. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some special time surrounded by art.

Our facility offers a guest space within a working art studio. Enjoy an inspiring stay surrounded by art in a spacious environment.

Exclusive Art Workshop for Guests

At Takasaki Art Renaissance, we offer a professional art workshop led by Fuzuki Arai, an artist with 20 years of experience exhibiting his work both in Japan and internationally. Mr. Arai believes in the power of art to enrich the mind and bring a sense of tranquility.

The three-hour workshop begins with a meditation session to help you connect with your creativity. Guided by an expert, even complete beginners can confidently create their own original artwork. There’s no need to worry if you have no painting experience. Simply enjoy the freedom of moving your brush and the delight of creating a one-of-a-kind piece. You can take your finished artwork home as a special souvenir from your trip.

Participation Fee: ¥15,000 (materials included)

By Train

Nearest Station: Approximately a 1-minute walk from Nishi-Yoshii Station on the Joshin Dentetsu Line.

From Tokyo

From Tokyo Station, the Shinkansen (bullet train) or local lines are convenient to reach Takasaki Station.

• JR Ueno-Tokyo Line (for Takasaki): Direct local line from Tokyo Station to Takasaki Station.
• JR Hokuriku Shinkansen “Toki” or “Hakutaka” (for Niigata, Kanazawa, etc.): From Tokyo Station to Takasaki Station (Shinkansen).

From Takasaki Station to Nishi-Yoshii Station:

• At JR Takasaki Station, please transfer to the Joshin Dentetsu Line.
• It takes about 25-30 minutes from Takasaki Station (Joshin Dentetsu Line) to Nishi-Yoshii Station (fare is approx. 630 JPY).

By Car

Access from Yoshii IC (if coming by car)

From the Joshinetsu Expressway “Yoshii IC” exit to “Takasaki Art Renaissance” is approximately 8.5km, and takes about 13 minutes.

From Tokyo Station to “Takasaki Art Renaissance”, the route mainly uses expressways, is about 125km, and usually takes about 1 hour 47 minutes to 2.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

• Natural Hot Spring: Seseragi no Yu – 50 min by car. Day-trip bathing is also possible.
• Restaurant: Tonkatsu Mitsumi – You can eat exquisite pork. 13 min walk / 4 min by car.
• Supermarket: JA Farmers Takasaki Yoshii – 13 min walk / 3 min by car.
• Mt. Inafukumi: A mountain famous as a sacred site. From its summit, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire Gunma area. [30 minutes by car, 1 hour 30 minutes one-way on foot]
